1. Prepare the Salmon Mixture

In a large bowl, combine:

  • flaked salmon

  • breadcrumbs

  • eggs

  • chopped onion

  • mayonnaise

  • mustard (if using)

  • garlic powder

  • black pepper

  • parsley

Mix until everything is evenly incorporated. The mixture should be sticky enough to hold together. Add more breadcrumbs if too wet.


2. Form Patties

Shape the mixture into 6–8 equal-sized patties, about 3 inches in diameter and 1/2 inch thick.


3. Heat the Pan

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.


4. Fry the Patties

Carefully place the patties in the hot oil.
Cook 3–4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.


5. Drain and Serve

Remove patties from the skillet and drain on paper towels.
Serve warm with:
