Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Chicken
Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5–6 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove the chicken and set aside.
Step 2: Make the Cream Base
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom — these add rich flavor to your sauce.
Step 3: Add the Cream and Boursin
Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream. Add the Boursin cheese and whisk until it melts completely, creating a smooth, velvety sauce.
Step 4: Combine and Simmer
Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Spoon some sauce over the chicken and let it simmer for 3–5 minutes so the flavors blend beautifully.
Step 5: Serve and Enjoy
Garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve warm with pasta, mashed potatoes, or steamed vegetables.
🍽️ Tips
For extra flavor, add a splash of white wine before adding the cream.
