Easiest Pineapple Bake

 


This Easiest Pineapple Bake is a delightful dessert that combines sweet and tangy pineapple flavors with a custard-like texture. It's incredibly simple to prepare, requiring just seven ingredients and minimal effort. Whether served warm or chilled, it's sure to be a hit at any gathering.


Ingredients:


1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple with juices

3/4 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

2 tablespoons cornstarch

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 1/2 tablespoons butter, sliced into pats

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon


Instructions:


Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.

Prepare the Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the crushed pineapple (with juices), sugar, eggs, cornstarch, and vanilla extract. Stir until fully combined.

Assemble: Pour the pineapple mixture into the prepared baking dish. Dot the top with butter pats and sprinkle with cinnamon.

Bake: Place in the oven and bake for 45 minutes, or until the edges are bubbly and the top is lightly golden.

Cool and Serve: Allow the bake to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving warm, or chill completely to serve cold. Optionally, top with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
