Ingredients


One 9-inch pie crust

One 8-ounce package cream cheese, room temperature

3 eggs, divided

3/4 cup granulated sugar, divided

4 teaspoons vanilla extract, divided

1/2 cup light corn syrup

3 tablespoons butter, melted

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 cups toasted pecan pieces


Instructions


Preheat Oven – Set your oven to 350°F.

Prepare the Crust – Place the pie crust in a 9-inch deep-dish pie plate.

Make the Cream Cheese Layer – In a large bowl, beat together the cream cheese, 1 egg, 1/4 cup sugar, and 2 teaspoons vanilla until smooth. Pour into the pie crust and spread evenly. Bake for 15 minutes.


Prepare the Pecan Filling – In another bowl, whisk the remaining 2 eggs and 1/2 cup sugar until well combined.


Add Wet Ingredients – Stir in the corn syrup, melted butter, remaining 2 teaspoons vanilla, and salt. Whisk until fully blended.
