There are many ways to eat sweet potatoes. You can bake them to eat, you can Roast Sweet potatoes to eat. You can make soup from them and I made salad many times.
1. How to Bake Sweet Potatoes?
This recipe is vegan, oil-free and whole food plant-based. Here’s how I make them:
- Preheat the oven to 425°F and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
- Use a fork to make holes into the sweet potatoes. Then set them on the baking sheet.
- Roast around 40 to 50 minutes, or until the skin has puffed up and you can easily pierce them with a fork.
Secret Tip: If you’re in a hurry, you can also roast sweet potato halves for 30 minutes. Slice the sweet potatoes in half lengthwise, rub them with olive oil, sprinkle pink salt and pepper, and cook cut-side up until lightly browned and tender.

- Some sweet potatoes, peeled, cut into 1½-inch pieces
- ¼ Cup Extra Virgin olive oil
- Himalayan Pink Salt according to taste
- ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- Preheat oven to 450°. Toss potatoes, oil, salt, and pepper on a rimmed baking sheet
- Roast, tossing occasionally, until tender and browned, 35–45 minutes.

How to Grow Sweet Potatoes in Grow Bag?
Most of us, we love to eat sweet potatoes and my husband and my both sons they love it. I don’t like sweet potatoes that much. You can buy them from the grocery store and they are not that expensive as well.
It became a beautiful plant, which was looking as decorative plants look and due to short summer season here in Canada, I had to harvest it early.
As you can see in the below video, I planted one Sweet potato only, which gave me 5 Sweet Potatoes.
So it means, if we plant in proper time and give enough time, we can get more sweet potatoes from one and also we can grow them without having space in our home.
