Oven Baked 3-Ingredient Crescent Brie Bites

Ingredients

  • 1 (8-ounce/226 g) tube refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 8 ounces (225 g) Brie cheese, cut into 16 small cubes
  • ¼ cup fruit jam or preserves (raspberry, apricot, strawberry, or fig)

Optional Garnishes

  • Chopped pecans or walnuts
  • Fresh rosemary or thyme
  • Flaky sea salt
  • Hot honey (after baking)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly grease an 8x8-inch baking dish or small casserole dish.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles. Cut each triangle in half if needed to make 16 pieces.
  4. Place one cube of Brie in the center of each piece of dough.
  5. Top each cube with about ½ teaspoon of jam.
  6. Fold the dough around the filling, pinching the seams gently to mostly enclose the cheese and jam.
  7. Arrange the bites snugly together in the prepared baking dish with the seam side down.
  8. Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until the crescent dough is puffed and deep golden brown.
  9. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving, as the cheese will be very hot.

Storage

  • Refrigerator: Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.

Reheating

  • Oven: 325°F (165°C) for 8–10 minutes, until warmed through and crisp again.
  • Air fryer: 325°F (165°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  • Microwave: Not recommended, as the pastry becomes soft and chewy.

Tips

  • Chill the Brie in the freezer for 10 minutes before cutting for cleaner cubes.
  • Don't overfill with jam—about ½ teaspoon per bite is plenty.
  • Pack the bites close together in the baking dish to encourage them to rise instead of spreading.
  • A little cheese or jam bubbling out during baking is completely normal.
  • Serve warm while the Brie is still soft and gooey.
