These Homemade Crunch Bars are basically an easy, no-bake version of a chocolate crunch candy bar — crispy, chocolatey, and simple to make.
Ingredients
- 3 cups crispy rice cereal
- 2 cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- ¼ cup coconut oil
Instructions
1. Prepare the pan
Line an 8×8-inch pan (or similar) with parchment paper.
2. Add cereal
Put 3 cups crispy rice cereal into a large bowl.
3. Melt the chocolate mixture
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine:
- Chocolate chips
- Peanut butter
- Maple syrup
- Coconut oil
Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring each time until smooth.
4. Mix together
Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the cereal and gently stir until fully coated.
5. Press into pan
