🥐 Cinnamon Roll Bites (Easy 4-Ingredient Recipe)
Makes: About 24 bites
Prep time: 10 minutes
Bake time: 12–15 minutes
Ingredients
- 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 oz each)
- ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
Optional Vanilla Glaze
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2–3 tbsp milk or heavy cream
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Preheat & Prep
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Grease a 12-cup muffin tin very well with butter or cooking spray.
2. Make the Cinnamon Sugar
In a medium bowl, mix together:
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp cinnamon
Stir until evenly combined.
3. Prepare the Dough
Open crescent dough and separate into triangles.
Cut each triangle into 3–4 small bite-sized pieces.
You should end up with about 24 pieces total.
4. Coat the Dough
Dip each dough piece into the melted butter.
Then roll it generously in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until fully coated.
5. Fill the Muffin Tin
Place 2–3 coated dough pieces into each muffin cup.
Do not pack too tightly—they puff while baking.
(Optional: sprinkle extra cinnamon sugar on top.)
6. Bake
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until:
✅ Golden brown
✅ Puffy
✅ Slightly crisp around the edges
Let cool for 5 minutes before removing from the pan.
7. Make the Glaze (Optional but Delicious)
Whisk together:
- Powdered sugar
- Milk
- Vanilla
until smooth.
Drizzle over warm bites.
Tips
- Best served warm.
- Delicious with coffee, tea, or chai.
- Add chopped pecans or walnuts for crunch.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for 2–3 days and warm briefly before eating.
These taste like mini cinnamon rolls with crispy edges and soft, buttery centers. 😋
